The Huntington Blues Society maintains Affiliate status with The Blues Foundation and is eligible to send Blues artists within a 200-mile radius of Huntington, WV to the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, TN every January.  We hold our local Challenge on the third Saturday in July as part of the Appalachian Blues Festival to determine which acts will represent our region.
